To strengthen cybersecurity across tertiary institutions, COMDICT has launched a 3-month capacity-building program for ICT Directors and system administrators.
The training covers:
- Cyber attack prevention & response
- Campus network security
- Data governance and backup policies
- Incident reporting standards
- Cloud security management
During the opening session, COMDICT leadership stressed that cyber-attacks on educational institutions are increasing, making strong security policies and skilled personnel more important than ever.
The program will run quarterly and expand to include digital-policy development and advanced network engineering certifications.
