COMDICT has unveiled a new Smart Campus Development Framework designed to help tertiary institutions modernize their campuses using digital technologies.
The framework outlines best practices on:
- Campus-wide WiFi deployment
- Biometric and smart-ID systems
- eLearning optimization
- Cloud-based services
- Smart classrooms and interactive boards
- Energy-efficient ICT infrastructure
Member institutions will receive technical guides and implementation templates to support adoption.
The committee emphasized that the framework will promote uniformity in ICT standards and drive the transition toward digitally-driven education environments in Nigeria.
